Agreement
By using Cadence (cadence.medici.africa), you agree to these Terms of Service. Cadence is provided by Medici Labs. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Cadence is a personal planning app for activities, calendar sync, groups, stats, and budgeting. Features may change or be updated over time. We try to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Your account
- You sign in with Google through our authentication provider (Supabase).
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure.
- You must provide accurate information and not misuse the service (spam, abuse, illegal activity, or attempts to break security).
Google Calendar
When you connect Google Calendar, you allow Cadence to create and sync a dedicated Cadence calendar and, when enabled, read free/busy availability from your other calendars for conflict checks. You can disconnect or revoke access in Google account settings at any time. Google services are subject to Google's terms and policies.
Your content
You keep ownership of the activities, notes, and other content you add. You give us permission to store and process that content only to run Cadence (including backup, sync, and display). Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cadence to:
- Break laws or others' rights.
- Harass, threaten, or harm others.
- Interfere with or overload our systems.
- Access another user's data without permission.
We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, including use of Google Auth, Supabase, and Google Calendar. Cadence does not currently use analytics, ads, or tracking; that may change later with an updated privacy policy.
Disclaimer
Cadence is provided "as is" for personal planning. It is not medical, financial, or professional advice. We are not liable for decisions you make based on your schedule, stats, or budget information in the app. Use your own judgment for health, safety, and important commitments.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medici Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Cadence. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Cadence in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if the service is free).
Ending use
You may stop using Cadence at any time by signing out and disconnecting integrations. We may discontinue or change the service with reasonable notice where possible. Contact apps@medici.africa for account or data questions.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
